anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, and relationship problems. It is also effective in helping people achieve their goals and live more fulfilling lives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group p-animation-text-transform is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--medium)\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Type Of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a type of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy that helps us identify and change the unhelpful beliefs that cause many of our emotional problems. It is based on the idea that your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are all interconnected. When you change the way you think about things, it becomes easier to manage your feelings and behaviours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group p-animation-text-transform is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Short-Term, Goal-Oriented Therapy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>REBT is a short-term, goal-oriented therapy, and it typically takes 12-20 sessions. During therapy, we will work together to identify any unhelpful beliefs and develop new, more helpful alternatives. You will learn how to challenge the unhelpful beliefs and replace them with more reasonable thoughts..<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--small);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--small);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--small);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--small)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group p-animation-text-transform is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--medium)\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What If My Problems Are More Complex?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes, our problems are more complex and may need a different approach. It can be useful to look into the past and see where your behaviour patterns have developed. This is where I may draw on other therapies if suitable. Talking through issues in a focused way helps us clarify what needs changing, and help us develop a plan. I work with an individual&#8217;s needs, rather than just a diagnosis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group p-animation-text-transform is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--medium)\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dialectical Behaviour Therapy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Dialectical Behaviour Therapy&nbsp;(DBT) is also recommended for a range of issues, particularly BPD\/EUPD and problems with emotional regulation and is particularly effective. DBT focuses on the present and blends mindfulness with emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal skills, along with changing unhelpful thinking and behavioural patterns.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group p-animation-text-transform is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Now Is Always a Good Time For Change<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Therapy options are either online via video link (Zoom) or in-person.
